| We have a fully equipped surgical suite using safe and up-to-date gas anesthetics. Because your pet's safety during surgery is important, we monitor their heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen level, rate of breathing, and temperature with a digital monitor throughout surgery. A trained technician watches your pet throughout the entire anesthetic procedure. Preanesthetic drugs are used to lessen a pet's anxiety as soon as they enter the hospital for surgery. Pain medications are administered both before and after a surgical procedure. Your pet is closely monitored for pain and pain medications are sent home after surgery. We work with the board certified surgeons at Aspen Meadow Veterinary Specialist. When your pet needs their expertise, they can schedule surgery at their location in Longmont or in our surgery suite when appropriate.
